Course Overview
AED and CPR training allows delegates to react effectively and efficiently to cardiac arrests in the workplace.
Why take this course?
Unfortunately, a cardiac arrest can occur when we least expect it. When this happens, reacting effectively is critical. CPR and AED’s are crucial in saving a life.
This course will give delegates the confidence to perform CPR and utilise an AED if someone has a cardiac arrest. By having this training, employees can become familiar with how to work an AED and basic life support to increase the chain of survival. Providing this knowledge will protect and help meet the duty of care responsibilities to pupils, staff and visitors.
Who can attend?
This course is for anyone interested in developing emergency first aid skills. Delegates do not need previous experience in first aid. However, the Health and Safety Executive recommend attending this course in addition to our Emergency First Aid at Work training for comprehensive understanding of reacting effectively in emergency situations.
